Latest Primadonna Purchase

Yesterday, my mother and I went to SM Dasma to check some stuff. we ended up buying bags for me and my youngest sister, Angel, and these two lovely shoes below:

orig price: P1099.95
bought: P699.75

orig price: P999.95
bought: P899.95

I initially loved the brand because they have lots of nice boots last year (bought 2 boots from their store). Now, I'm beginning to appreciate their other styles as well. I hope I can buy the gladiators that they have soon. And by the way, they are almost always in SALE!

Belt Bag

If you are reading my main blog, Some Thoughts, you'll know that I was then a joiner of marathons. In the first two marathons that I joined, I tried bringing Pow (my camera), and goodness, it was torture! You'll feel as if your carrying a big stone as you go along the run. Then there were times when I would just bring my two mobile phones to keep as my timer and music player. But I only use shorts that have big pockets which are not really comfortable. That's when I decided that I need to buy a belt bag. Well, belt bag for girls I should say.

This belt bag is made of culdoroy, army green in color. Bought this from Kirin Kirin in SM Dasma. I never used it for marathon though since I am not able to join the last event that I registered in. So I am looking forward on June since I think I can schedule a sleepover (for the nth time) at my Tita's house in Manila.

Price: P250

Shopping at SM Carriedo

SM Carriedo is one of my favorite places when shopping for cheap dresses and shoes. It is considered as SM's factory outlet. What they do is, items left at other SM branches are always sold with more or less 20-50% off the original price. This is really helpful especially if you are not in the always out of stock sizes of items. Well, I always benefit here when shopping on sandals, especially the brand GIBI. I think I already bought more than 10 high-heeled sandals since I discovered their discounted sandals there (and i'm still in the process of adding more to the collection lol).

I'm not sure if yesterday is my first time to shop at SM Carriedo for this year. But the thing is, i was able to shop just for 2 hours!! Yes this is an achievement for me already since I normally spend 3-4hours checking and fitting items. Below are the things I bought, again for 2 hours lol:

1. Green and White Dress/Blouse
I first  saw this dress i think last year at SM Dasma. But i thought of not buying it first since I knew that this would only be used come UAAP time. But when I returned there and tried checking it out, this dress is no longer available in that branch. I also went to SM Mega just to see if they still sell this dress and unfortunately, i was not able to find it there as well. Good thing I went to SM Carriedo, and when I saw this I decided to buy it even if it is a SMALL size haha! Now I already have my first green outfit for this season's UAAP.

Size: S
Price: P250

2. Polo Shirts
My mother did not see my shopping bag yesterday, but I'm sure she'll like these two polo shirts that I bought. I was looking for white dress or blouse since I only have few clothes with this color. And yeah, my mother knows about this certain color of the month thing for me. I have this tendency to like a certain color when shopping. And it will turn out that everything that I will buy will be of that color (from clothes to accessories etc.) and my mother will always say "naadik ka na naman sa isang color!" Hahaha! Oh by the way, I was enticed with this shirt since I have a sandals that is also in powder blue. So i think this would go with that along with a maong shorts when just going out with friends :)

Size: S
Price: P275

Yes, this is just another color of the polo shirt above. Thank God the green one seems not to be good on me so I only bought two shirts lol. And given that I now have accumulated enough clothes with brown color in the design, I really need to invest on nice brown shoes (or boots even!).

Size: S
Price: P275

 3. Colorful Dress
This is a relative of the dress that I bought for my sister (which I am scheduled to borrow if ever I'll have a reunion dinner *wink*). At first I am hesitant to buy this since the color is not really that appealing to me. But I am trying my best to not always go for the safe color and do some color combination experiments so i bought this dress and so far the powder blue sandals (I'll try to post this one on my next entries) I was telling earlier would suit this as well. It can be used as a nice cover up when heading to the beach as well as gimmick outfit given the right accessories and shoes.

Size: M
Price: P250

4. Maong Shorts
I am initially planning to buy a pair of jeans, but wanted a skinny that would look nice with my black boots. But when I saw this shorts, it seems that it would look nice with the blouses/shirts that I already picked that day. So there I ask for my size, tried it on and voila, it is added to my cart as well. Price for the same design but in 3/4 length is P350. I think I'll add that to my next shopping day.

Size: 28
Price: P250

 5. Tube Dress
I thought this was the tube with shorts type of clothing thinking that it would be nice to have one of those for outings. But it turned out that the bottom is a skirt so you still have to wear shorts or leggings for this. I am proud of this purchase though I only saw this when I was about to go to the cashier. It's original price is P499.75 but since it is a red tag (super discounted item), it only cost me P150.

Size:S
Price: P150 (from original price of (499.75)

6. Brown Messenger Bag
Actually, I was not planning to buy a bag yesterday, but since I am already there, I checked the bags section as well. I am into messenger bags since for me it is much safer to wait for bus with that kind of bag, especially at night (I'm still paranoid with "hablot shoulder bag"  stories of my friends). I am using my navy blue Esprit bag given by my mother. And I am targeting to buy a new one since the portion with the button is torn already. So when I was in Cose bags, there was this sales lady that talked me into buying this bag. Yes, one touch and she appeared from nowhere and was telling me all the good features of this bag lol. But for me it is a nice bag, and it is color brown, one safe color for any outfit combination.

Brand: Cose
Price:P350 (original price is P499.75)

7. Royal Blue Sandals
GIBI was my target yesterday. I was hoping that I can find a nice slip-ons that I can wear everyday. I am using my black boots as daily footwear going to the office. And I am beginning to worry that it will wear off since the rubber soles are thinning already. So I kept on trying on the sandals that are on sale and was able to purchase this one. It's girly I know but when i tried walking it is comfortable enough, so I am guessing I can use it regularly as well. I'll try to give my black boots some rest for now.

Size: 8
Price: P400

The entire cart was around P2800+ (there were other items that I  bought) , used my HSBC, and then got my fifth receipt for free Starbucks coffee :)

First Post!

Hi everyone! After days of contemplating if I will make a separate blog for my latest purchases in terms of clothes, shoes and other accessories, here comes http://sally-fashionfinds.blogspot.com =)

It was last two weeks ago when I tried looking for online shops and fashion blogs to avoid getting super bored. I just did the usual browsing and reading articles when I saw a certain blog of a lady capturing every outfit she wears on special occasions. I was fascinated that she even show photos of the outfit she used and discussing what other combination you can do using some accessories or by just wearing the item differently. I was inspired with how she shares her ideas with regards to the clothes and shoes that she mix and match as well as the color combination. And because I also plan the outfit that I wear for special occasions, I gave in to the idea of sharing the things that I find or buy as addition to my wardrobe. I know that I am not the shopper who buys pricey items. I am more of a budget shopper and just allow myself to buy branded stuff once in a while. And when I say budget shopper, I am someone who finds happiness when I purchase something below P500. The lower the price, the more satisfied I am with what I buy, though not sacrificing the design (I am working on the comfy part of purchasing coz I always tend to forget this category). And as for my first entry, I present to you the 3 pairs of footwear I bought at St. Francis Square.

(Note: Pardon my attempt on describing the items below. I am still not that particular with the style terms etc. *teehee*)

1. Blue Gamusa Semi-boots
Photobucket

I was planning to buy this since last week but I want to get a brown knee high boots first initially. And since the brown boots that I like needs to be ordered online, I decided that I'll just buy the one I saw in Naf Naf once our 13th month pay is release. Thus, I bought this blue one today.

I don't know if this pair of shoes is counted as boots already so I just termed it semi-boots since for me it looks like one. And I keep on remembering the boots that Ja Di and her best friend wear in Why Why Love. Good thing I have lots of clothes around the shade of blue. This would be perfect for a comfy look for shirt and capri pants.

2. Brown Flat Shoes
Photobucket

I can't remember how may times I bought flat shoes with this color but I am into "brown is black" thinking. I am more used to matching brown things to any color than black ones. I am trying to lessen buying clothes in brown but in shoes and slippers, it's always brown for me. I think this shoes is also cute even if you are wearing skirts.

3. White Strappy Flat Sandals
Photobucket

At first I hesitated on buying this pair. But I am in need of white footwear that can be worn daily. The only white pair I have at home is my Gibi sandals which is 3 inches high. I am concern about the material of this sandals since for me this is the type that easily gets dirty. Maybe I'll just be more careful where to step on so it won't be a dirt magnet.

As I am writing this entry I am already imagining what combination among my clothes will I wear them with. I hope I can post pictures of "outfit for the day" to see the outcome. Tata for now!
